Laser-Professionals, Inc. High School Senior Award
Laser-Professionals Inc. is pleased to offer an annual scholarship of $2250 to be awarded to a Moloka'i High School graduating senior who is planning to attend an accredited four-year college or university in the coming year. The successful recipient must be a first-generation college-going student.The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage and promote the pursuit of higher education among first-generation students of Moloka'i families whose financial resources are limited.
Selection will be based on the student’s scholastic achievement, financial need, academic potential, and motivation.
Requirements:
- Scholarship applicant must provide official high school transcripts confirming an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Applicant must submit two letters of recommendation from high school teachers or counselors.
- Applicant must submit a completed application form and a two-page essay discussing educational interests and plans, high school activities, and community service.
- Applicant must have applied to and have met the qualifications for admission to a four-year US college or university.
- Applicant must be in need of financial assistance as verified by his/her family’s federal income tax returns.
The scholarship will be in the form of a certificate of award conditional on the enrollment of the winner in an accredited US college or university. The scholarship is non-renewable.
