This software does not currently classify lasers. It will perform all the calculations necessary for the classification of both point source and extended source lasers under both ANSI Z136.1 and IEC 60825-1. Knowledgeable users will be able to quickly determine all values required for laser classification. We are not convinced that it is a good idea to tempt the inexperienced to rely on software for the classification of lasers. We may add a limited classification function later based on user feedback. Easy Haz^TM Professional LSO software is not for everybody. You will need considerable laser safety expertise to make use of several of the additional features.
