The final day of this course includes complete details of laser hazard analysis calculations, extended source hazard analysis, and review of our comprehensive practice Certified Laser Safety Officer exam. We provide clear explanations of the details of laser hazard calculations and use Easy HazTM Advanced LSO laser hazard analysis software as a teaching tool to help develop more thorough understanding. We discuss analysis of extended sources and other details of advanced laser hazard analysis. We also include reviews of the IEC 60825 International Standard and the Federal Laser Product Performance Standard.
